IDF Cast Lead Report

I advise you to read blogger Elder of Ziyon's take on the IDF's (extensive) Cast Lead report. He picks out some examples of the resoning behind mistakes that resulted in civilian casualties, and basically illustrates how at the same time as the IDF's morality and good intentions they can and have been completely misinterpreted.

    yeha yeah, excuses. war crimes have been comitted and someone will have to be held responsible for that!

    The IDF does a better job investigating war crimes than any "human rights" organisation. They're more thorough and probably more impartial! The IDF punishes its own soldiers for misconduct. Misconduct that ACTUALLY happened, not the rubbish and lies they're accused of that they ALWAYS refute.
