Guardian Finds Yet ANOTHER Self Hating Jew!

Read Cif Watch and Robin Shepherd's takes on this self-hating Israeli Jew's typically biased Guardian comment piece. The Guardian is like a beacon to these people! Or maybe it's the other way round. This piece the Guardian found on an Israeli blog, but they have now given Meron Rapoport his own profile page, where no doubt further anti-Israel articles will soon be cropping up. Here the Guardian drools over him being "winner of the Napoli International Prize for Journalism for a inquiry about the stealing of olive trees from their Palestinian owners." (After a google check, that seems to be the only time the 'prize' has ever been won, or even mentioned.) But of course, his 'prize' would hardly be for balanced or insightful journalism; the Guardian doesn't seem to like objective journalists.

  1. there's no such a thing as "self-hatong" jew. But it seems it's the only way for you to explain to yourself how can some jews criticize israel.

  2. A Jew critising Israel doesn't make him self-hating, but if he ONLY criticises Israel, (and exaggerates and tells half truths), if he doesn't look at the other side, and he doesn't praise Israel for the good, then it is self-hating because he's singling out Israel - because it's the Jewish state.
That's why calling Israel a Nazi or racist state is antisemitic.

  3. I don't think so. Many Jews are not zionists and many of them don't like Israel's policy, but i would call them self-hating. In fact, even if a Jew only criticies Israel, that doesn't make him self-hating, becasue he's still a Jew, not a state of Israel. It's like calling an American who was critical to the Bush administration (or now to Obama) self-hating American. Or an Iranian, who only criticize Amhadinejad, self-hating Iranian. In my eyes, that's nonsense.

  5. You missed my point, please read it again. If you criticise Israel but you don't criticise other countries for worse, if you criticise Israel but never praise it... etc

  6. I don't think i missed your point. I still think there's no such a thing as self-hating jew. Again: even if a Jew ONLY criticize israel and NEVER praise her, that doesn't make him self-hating, because: firstly, he may don't like (or even) hate Israel (a state), not Jews ; and secondly, he doesn't hate himself, he only hate a regime or government. That's huge difference!
